What Sets TrueFT Apart?
Rob Rose has been conditioning athletes since 1990. He is considered a leader in reaction and first-step training. Rob has used his innovative ideas in training top level professional, college, and amateur athletes for Volleyball, soccer, basketball, hockey, baseball and Soccer. Rob is a graduate of George Mason University with a degree in Sports Medicine and worked for five years in the field of athletic training and sports physical therapy. He is a certified strength and conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is conducting lectures and workshops on sports-specific training throughout the area. Rob is dedicated to helping each of his clients reach their maximum potential in both athletics and life.

Kris Johnson has been training beginner to elite level athletes since 2002. He has worked with many athletes, from almost every court or field sport, that are now playing at the collegiate or professional level. Kris is a graduate of Western Illinois University with a degree in Exercise Science and focus on Strength and Conditioning. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist from the National Strength Professionals Association. Kris has created several sport specific strength and speed program designs that can be found in books and dvd’s throughout the nation. Kris’ dedication to this field comes from watching athletes who thought they didn’t quite have what it takes......make it to the next level and more through their hard work and determination. Matt Diener has been helping athletes work to reach their potential since 2006. He is a graduate of Mount Union College, where he played on two NCAA Division III National Champion football teams in 2005 and 2006. Matt graduated with a degree in Sport Management, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. His passion is to find new and creative ways to challenge and motivate athletes to succeed in their sport. Matt’s goal is not simply to serve as a trainer and role model for his athletes, but to be a positive Christian influence as well. “For in Him in we live and move and have our being.” (Acts 17:28)

Aaron Smith has a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from East Carolina University and is a Certified Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength Professionals Association. While at ECU he spent 2 years in the Athletic Training department focusing on athlete rehabilitation before he focused full time on exercise science and athlete performance. After he graduated in Dec. 2005 he interned and has since worked with the True Fitness Training staff. He has a football and baseball specific background but has worked with athletes of all sports ranging from junior high school all the way through college. Aaron enjoys working with dedicated and hard working individuals and prides himself on teaching proper form and technique to improve sports performance. Along with training athletes Aaron directs True Fitness which is a company targeting the entire fitness population and not just athletes.

Kevin has been a sports performace trainer since 2002. During that span, he has worked with athletes of all ages ranging from elementry to college level. He is also a Certified Conditioning Specialist, and the Lead Trainer for TrueFT. With an extensive backround in Basketball, Kevin also serves as the basketball skills trainer for TrueFT and for the past 2 years he has worked with the AAU basketball program VA Elite out of northern VA. While sevring as a Sports Performace Trainer, Kevin has seen kids grow not just as athletes but as people. Kevin believes you will get the most of our training if you bring your best effort to each session. He enjoys hard working athletes with a goal and purpose and thinks it makes his job fun and enjoyable!!

Bruce Tran is TrueFT's Volleyball Director. He has been involved with volleyball for the past 23 years, whether it be competing or teaching the sport. Bruce graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. He has coached high schools, junior clubs, camps and clinics all over the mid-atlantic region, including:
When teaching volleyball skills, Bruce is avid beleiver in technical efficiency. His dedication to the sport is evident, as it is said he eats, drinks, sleeps, and thinks volleyball. Bruce still currently competes in competive adult USAV tournaments all over the united states and enjoys the fact that his expertise can help other appreciate the game.

Josh Daniels is a graduate of Eastern Nazarene College with a degree in Exercise Science and Physical Education. While at Eastern Nazarene, he competed in NCAA Baseball for four years, serving as captain for two. He is a Certified Conditioning Specialist (CCS) through the National Strength Professionals Association (NSPA). Josh has been training athletes since 2007. One of his greatest passions is empowering young athletes. His goal is to motivate, encourage, and challenge each athlete every day to reach levels once thought unattainable.

Peter has been working with athletes of all ages and skill levels for the past 2 years. He is a graduate of George Mason University, where he obtained a degree in Exercise Science. Peter has wrestled competitively at the both the high school and college levels. As a trainer, Peter prides himself in bringing and intense atmosphere to every session, while challenging his clients to do the same. At the same time, he has fun helping athletes perform better, and strives to make each session enjoyable and educational as well.

Josh Baird graduated from James Madison University in 2009 with a degree in Exercise Science. He played football for James Madison for all four years. James Madison was the CAA champion and a national semi- finalist during Josh's senior season. After JMU, Josh interned at True Fitness Training. He went on to get hired as an Assistant Director, and now leads the newly-launched Prince William and Fauquier County branches of TrueFT. As a former collegiate athlete, Josh knows what it takes for you to take to your game to the next level. Josh grew up locally and attended Stonewall Jackson high school where he was a three sport athlete and named best athlete of the year in 2005. He is very involved with his local church in Manassas and leads the college age service on Sundays. Josh is engaged to be married on November 28th, 2009.
